I honestly don’t know where to begin because it is difficult to put into words just how grateful I am for the support I received throughout my PR journey. Immigration can come with so much uncertainty. There is so much information online, different experiences from different people, and sometimes your own previous experiences can leave you with more questions than answers. Where's the 6th star already? UPDATE Thanks to the expert guidance of Ubuntu's Mary , my family and I now have a different, delightful story about our Canada journey. I, along with my daughter, had accompanied my wife who was traveling to study in Canada, the implication being that my wife had to be the propeller for the rest of the family towards status retention/extensions, as well as Permanent Residence. Mary relentlessly looked out for alternative pathways and opportunities, never giving up even when we were going to. I became the principal applicant for our PRs, and Ubuntu handled everything. As of today, August 26, 2026, with my wife completing her studies only 2 months ago, we are now Permanent Residents of Canada. I still have 2 solid years of work permit which I do not need anymore, and my wife never got to need a Post Graduate Work Permit. How did we do it? Ask Ubuntu. They are the best.
